*** Extra Ordinary Committee Meeting ***

Thursday, April 5th, 2012

An extra committee meeting will be held at 7.30 April 2nd in the pub across the road from Darby Green Village Hall. As soon as we have agreed on a way forward we will let members know and invite any one that wishes to have a say to get in contact with us and add to the committee meeting agenda for full discussion, any member with input on this is welcome to attend out next full committee meeting on Monday 23rd April prior to the next race day.
We will keep everyone informed of any developments.

** March 24th Race Day **

Thursday, April 5th, 2012

As most people will be aware by now March’s Race Day was a disaster in more ways than one. The main problem was the way in which the kerbing rule was applied, the committee are currently investigating this issue and will be asking the MSA what their views are on this once we have collected evidence from all the parties concerned.
We understand that a lot of people feel that they have been needlessly victimised and have concerns about future racing at CKC. We can assure everyone that these issues will be looked into and dealt with as soon as possible.
CKC is not directly to blame for MSA officials decisions and application of the rules, we do realise that you all have a choice where you race and would hope that you can see we are trying to resolve this issue to maintain the quality of racing.
We will keep you all informed via this web site of any developments as they happen.
The committee have called an extra meeting on Monday 2nd April (time and venue to be confirmed) to discuss the way forward.
