Keith Gollop

Friday, December 17th, 2010

All, the message below from Keith Gollop’s partner is a sad one. Our sincere condolences go out to Debbie, family and friends for this tragic loss.

“It is with great sadness that I am contacting you to tell you that my partner, Keith Gollop, passed away on Sunday 12 December.

I would be grateful if you could circulate the following details of his  funeral service to the committee and members.

The cremation will take place on Monday 20 December at 2.15 at Easthampstead Park, South Road, Nine Mile Ride, Wokingham RG40 3DW.  Following on from
the service will be a celebration of Keiths’ life to be held at The Boxing Club, Turf Hill Road, Camberley GU15 4EL.

Anyone who would like to pay their respects to Keith or lend their support to the family would be most welcome.

In preference to floral tributes, we would appreciate any donations to the Heart 2 Heart Appeal at Frimley Park Hospital which we will collect and donate in memory of Keith.

Deb, Dan and Charlotte would like to express their thanks to the paramedics who did everything possible for Keith at the time of his cardiac arrest on 25 September, and also to the committee and members who have supported us through this really difficult time.

Thank you
Debbie Gowers”

WorkParty Sunday 9th January 2011

Friday, December 17th, 2010

All Camberley Kart Club Members

We need you to attend this work party armed with nut guns, spanners, ratchets, drills etc to bolt together our new supply of tyres ( well done Ted still Helping the club ) which have been donated.  This will enable us to replace some of the old car tyre barriers.  The purpose of which is to help with safety and is a high priority.

Work Parties in 2010 have been supported by the same few who have achieved a lot and my thanks goes out to them; it is time to see more of you down there as if we start paying contractors then this could impact on the clubs costs.

Enjoy your Christmas and make your New years resolution to attend this work Party. All karter’s can do up an 8mm nut and bolt. (3 hold your wheels on you know)  :-)

Please show your intentions by e mailing me at:  workparties@camberleykartclub.com

Start time 9am on Sunday the 9th of January

Should there be any reason to amend the date, due to weather for example, a note will be posted on our website as usual so please check this regularly.

Happy Christmas!

Steve
